Pyne Backyard "House" Concerts

Spencer and Joy Pyne will host a series of
Backyard "House" Concerts this Summer.
They'd love to have you attend as many concerts as possible. |

A suggested cash donation of $20 per attendee will help compensate the performers.
Bring a potluck dish to share and your drink of choice.
Arrive at 6 PM for dinner and conversation.
Music from 7 PM to 9 PM sharp (neighbors).
Invite your friends and family! All are welcome!
They're located in Centennial, Colorado, near S. University Blvd and Arapahoe Road.
They will set up the backyard. You should bring enough outdoor chairs to be safe.
And, bring umbrellas, just in case.
If you are planning to attend the shows, they need to know in advance so they can make certain they will have enough room for everyone.

June 24th — Dan Navarro

Dan Navarro is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and voice actor. Dan and his partner, Eric Lowen, performed for years as Lowen & Navarro. They co-wrote the song We Belong, which became a major hit for Pat Benatar in 1984.
Dan's better-know first cousin is Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
A man of many talents, Dan also has done a number of character voices, including, Disney's "Encanto" and Universal Studio’s "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish."

July 8th — John Cable and Richard Dean

John Cable is a veteran musician who began his career in the late '60s. After serving as lead guitarist and vocalist for Texas country rock pioneers, Colours, John became a member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
In 1976, they became the first American band in history to perform in the Soviet Union. Recently, John has been touring with banjo virtuoso John McEuen, also a member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
Richard Dean is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist and songwriter who has written songs for Michael Martin Murphy, Emmylou Harris and Tom Rush. Richard was the lead guitar player for the original Michael Murphey Band, of "Wildfire" fame.

July 22nd — Buddy Mondlock

Buddy Mondlock is an Americana singer-songwriter and musician from Nashville. His newest CD, Filament, came out this year. He will be accompanied by Mike Lindauer on bass and harmonies.
His most famous song is "The Kid”, which was recorded and performed by Peter Paul & Mary, Guy Clark, David Wilcox, and Nanci Griffith.
In 2000, Buddy was approached by producer Billy Mann who had a unique project in mind. Buddy collaborated with the legendary Art Garfunkel and the wonderfully musical Maia Sharp. The three of them wrote and recorded an album together called "Everything Waits to Be Noticed."

August 5th — Eddy Roswell & Phantom Ranch

Eddy Roswell, aka Ed Skibbe, from Cave Creek AZ, is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Ed has been a touring musician, session musician, producer-engineer, and a Music Row staff-writer.
Once called "The most under-appreciated songwriter in America”, Ed has written or co-written a huge catalog of songs.
A masterful storyteller, his songs chronicle the challenges, joys, sorrows and triumphs of an indomitable, romantic spirit living a modern life in America’s Great Southwest.

August 19th — Close n' Counter

Spencer joins his partners, Gordon Close and Richard Blanchard, in this guitar trio, playing instrumental arrangements of great songs from the '20s through the '90s.
Combining the voices of a Jazz Guitar, a Classic Guitar and a Bass Guitar, Close 'n Counter delivers a relaxing blend of old and new music for an evening of easy listening pleasure!
